"Through non-objective imagery, I try to capture everyday moments in a type of visual poetry. The paintings are meant to be strong, passionate  and strive for beauty.
Gesture and chance play a role in my process. I am stimulated by the materiality of the paint when I layer, scrape, reveal and expose. There is no pre-conceived choreography, but when complete, the works contain four key components: thought, action, silence and noise."
